Event Coordinator
(part-time 24-32 hours per week)
Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (KCME), located in Almere, the Netherlands, is the exclusive European sales and marketing subsidiary of Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Japan. KCME is wholly owned by Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Japan. KCME’s operations span across all European countries, CIS, as well as Northern and Western Africa. KCME is dedicated to the sales and services of crawler excavators from 1t to 90t, including an innovative range of demolition machinery, and lattice boom crawler cranes from 55t to 550t. KCME’s brand tagline in Europe, “Built for Perfectionists,” embodies the essence of the company’s heritage: a Japanese engineering philosophy rooted in critical thinking, problem-solving, precision, and continuous improvement. The Brand Marketing team works on the full range of topics that promote our brand as one of the top chosen brand in excavators and cranes industry. The responsibility ranges from Branding, Digital Marketing, strategic advertising campaigns, trade fairs, social media and brand goods etc. For our Brand Marketing & Communication department we are looking for a part time hands-on Event Coordinator.
You will:
Coordinate accommodation bookings for clients, ensuring comfort, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.
Research, recommend, and reserve restaurants suited to client preferences and dietary needs.
Design and organize visit itineraries, including transportation logistics, site visits, and local activities.
Liaise with hotels, restaurants, and vendors to confirm bookings and negotiate rates when appropriate.
Maintain clear and accurate event documentation, including client preferences, booking confirmations, and budgets.
Communicate clearly and promptly with clients to confirm arrangements and provide ongoing support.
Support senior team members in the overall event planning and execution process.
Assist in post-event feedback collection and reporting.
You have:
Strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
Basic understanding of hospitality or travel logistics is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
A proactive and flexible attitude with a customer-first mindset.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Experience working with a European clientele is a bonus but not required.
