Overview
Based at the Lelystad production site, you will drive process design, improvements, and engineering support for capital projects. You will develop deep knowledge of plant processes, controls, and safety to ensure safe, reliable operations and scalable manufacturing. You will collaborate across functions to lead product introductions, technology transfers, and continuous improvement initiatives. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide technical leadership in process chemistry, design, equipment operation, and manufacturing technologies
- Lead new product introductions, technology transfers, and scale-up activities with focus on product quality and process robustness
- Address complex manufacturing challenges, lead root-cause investigations, and support safety, quality, yield and productivity improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and reduce costs
- Lead or support Lean Six Sigma projects with business cases and economic evaluations
- Support capital projects from concept to start-up with process designs, simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs
- Collaborate with project engineers, operations, R&D, and business teams to standardize manufacturing technologies
- Act as a key contributor to Process Safety Management, including PSI, PHA, MOC, PSSR, and HAZOP activities
- Provide technical training and coaching to operations and engineering teams
- Liaise across functions to support strategic objectives and future technology development
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Engineering degree
- 5+ years in a hazardous manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems
- Continuous Improvement and Change Management skills
