For one of our locations in the European Outlet Network – Diesel Store Batavia Stad – we are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic STORE MANAGER.
The role, directly reporting into the Retail Manager of the area, will be responsible for driving the business to succeed in the company’s goals through the management of a wide team and all the commercial aspects.
The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for achieving commercial targets through effective organization of the team and successful management of the product with a specific focus on leading the staff and managing the activities linked to sales and operational issues. He/she will coordinate the staff in terms of turns, rests, and vacations, to ensure proper floor coverage. He/she will share corporate strategies and procedures, manage client relations, and anticipate and identify customers’ needs. As Store Manager, he/she will play an important role in leading, creating the right culture, developing and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer service and convey the proper image of our extraordinary brand.

Design and drive store strategy to achieve the best sales performance, by understanding client desires and playing an active role in supporting your team on the selling floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and implement regular action plans in cooperation with the Retail Manager to develop sales for each product category and clientele and to achieve financial objectives.
- Be aware of local trading environment and its impact on sales.
- Act as a brand ambassador to strengthen relationships with VIP clientele.
- Ensure adequate client and prospect databases.
- Support and manage omni-channel activities (in-store pick-up, etc.) ensuring full compliance with corporate standards and guidelines.
- Meet inventory accuracy, review merchandise assortment on a regular basis, and plan to optimize stock levels and stock mix to reflect sales, buying trends, and customer demands. Comply with stock protection and maintain loss reduction standards.
- Coach the growth and development of the team in providing excellent and specialized customer service. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
- Develop meaningful and loyal client relationships through personal connections and CRM initiatives, and ensure the application of OTB standards (Selling Ceremony, Visual guidelines, Grooming standards, procedures, etc.).
- Streamline the workflow and create staff shifts.
- Ensure stores are properly cleaned and maintained (windows, furniture, lighting, etc.). Establish and maintain a safety management system of the store facility, stocks, and equipment.
- Plan and implement sales objectives on a daily and monthly basis.
- Set up and maintain effective VMD based on the VMD guidelines.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- Previous Store Management experience, preferably from a luxury brand.
- English knowledge is a must.
- Strong leadership skills, able to work autonomously and results-driven, with excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and feedback skills. Evidence in managing big teams.
- Passion for the Brand.
- Digital awareness and interest, with an ability to comfortably navigate e-commerce sites.
