Opportunity | Continuous Improvement Manager – Logistics / 3PL
For a fast-growing and highly dynamic logistics operation in the Flevoland region, I am looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who enjoys working close to the operation and creating real impact on the shop floor.
In this role, you will combine hands-on operational leadership with driving structured improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operational teams, team leads and site leadership to stabilize processes, strengthen standards and improve performance in a measurable way.
What you will be doing
- Lead improvement projects focused on productivity, safety, quality and throughput
- Strengthen operational standards such as 5S, daily routines and performance management
- Analyze KPIs, identify root causes and translate insights into concrete improvement actions
- Improve processes related to automation/robotics, waste reduction and rejection management
- Coach and train teams in Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement tools
- Contribute to the further development of the site’s CI roadmap
Who I am looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex logistics, supply chain or operations environment
- Experience within 3PL/logistics is a strong plus
- Solid Lean / OPEX / Continuous Improvement background
- Comfortable on the shop floor, while also able to contribute on a tactical and strategic level
- Strong analytical skills, pragmatic mindset and results-oriented approach
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English;
- Availability on site
