Would you like to be part of our growing team in Lelystad as one of the warehouse coordinators?
As coordinator you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of your team. Promote/implement continual improvement; training, motivation, and functional leadership within area of responsibility; conflict resolution; and enforcing company policies and procedures.

What you do on a typical day
• Responsible for the progress of the operational process
• Include two or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, or other duties
• Assigns duties and monitors work completion for accuracy
• Training new team members and supporting their adjustment and integration into the role while maintaining understanding of processes, policies and procedures
• Must work strictly according to personal targets/ results and quality standards
• Maintains a safe work environment and promotes positive team dynamics, resolving employee relations issues and taking corrective action as necessary
• Participate in Lean Warehousing system on the floor
• Immediately report task-related problems in simple situations
• The coordinator should be able to train other employees with departmental functions
• Must be able to identify gaps in procedures/ processes and report them to management or supervisor
• Communicate with the warehouse manager about developments and status orders
• Identify and report incidents. The execution and registration of tasks are also continuously monitored, recorded, and reported
• Discuss and assess team members’ performance. Collaborate with performance reviews on employee performance
• Reporting improvement proposals regarding the working environment
• You work with different warehouse systems such as SAP and WMS

What you need to succeed at GXO

• You have HAVO / MBO level/ Education to Secondary Education or High School Degre
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position within logistics
• You possess communicative and coaching skills to transfer knowledge
• You are available to work in shifts and weekends
• You live in or near Lelystad
• You have Min 1 year of work experience as a team leader in automated logistics / distribution centre’s / warehouse stockrooms
• You have excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish is an advantage
• You have management skills, leadership, motivation, and ability to work as a team member
• Flexibility, proactiveness and initiative are strong skills to be considered
